Hello,
A friend of mine was attempting to use your Wordpress.com Popular Posts plugin and was having difficulty. So, I helped her and got it running. After reading the installation instructions (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpresscom-popular-posts/installation/) I realized the problem. The was Step 1 refers to the Wordpress.com Stats plugin and then Step 2 refers to a zip file, without actually referring to downloading the Wordpress.com Popular Posts zip file. I think you should make it clear in Step 1 that the user must first install the Stats plugin, and then in Step 2 the user should download, etc the Popular Posts plugin.
