You can rearrange the smilies by clicking on Smilies Toolbar in your admin page, under Settings.

Yesterday, this plugin shut down my small network of wordpress sites, completely.

When rendering to the point where the plugin would load, it would pause. No visitors could access my sites until i disabled it.

This was over multiple browsers.

I’ve had to discontinue using this plugin due to this outage, i suspect the problem lies with wordpress.com stats.

@Tiger: could you please test this development version that introduces post thumbnails? I don’t use them, so I can’t test it well.
Use the new %post_thumbnail% tag in the format.
At this time they are fixed-sized, but I will allow users to set a size for the images.

In realtà mi baso sul fatto che abbiano impostato la Milestone alla versione 2.7.0 nel ticket

Il tema è molto carino, più moderno del precedente, mi ci trovo molto bene. Ho dovuto customizzarlo pochissimo fortunatamente! e dovrei trovare il tempo per sistemarlo ancora!

@Everyone: released v2.4.1. It adds some checks against unexpected values returned from wordpress.com servers. This could fix recent issues and hopefully any future ones.
Important note: who was experiencing these issues should try to disable and then re-enable the cache in the widget. This will clear the cache.
Who was using WPPP_show_popular_posts() in their theme and was using the cache, should add ONCE this, near WPPP_show_popular_posts():

update_option( 'wppp_cache', '' );

Then load a page (this will clear the cache), and then remove the code above.

Same issue than Matt a few hours ago.

I upgraded to WordPress.com Stats 1.6.2/WordPress.com Popular Posts 2.4.0 and now, even if wordpress.com is back, the issue continues; I had to deactivate the plugin.

N.B. Siccome la compliazione dell’installer si bloccava per via di un file relativo alla localizzazione norvegese l’ho rimossa… Quindi non dovrebbe funzionare.

N.B.B Installer compilation always fails because of a Norwegian/nynorsk localization file so I removed it… It should not work, sorry.

frasten , I just noticed my site wouldn’t load. After a bit of investigation I noticed only pages showing popular posts didn’t load, and when I disabled the plugin, it was up again.

wordpress.com server are currently down, which also means wordpress.com stats aren’t working, which obviously isn’t your fault, but it’s not good if it causes my site to stop loading with your plugin.

I use the manual code, and the pages with the cache option carried on working, but those without stopped.

Excellent plugin frasten, one of my favs, I just thought I should let you know

Hi there,

I have a suggestion for this great plugin, it’s only thing I think it’s missing (for now at least)… I like to have a pretty collection of smilies but I don’t like to have them ALL displayed in the comments toolbar. In the admin area, it’s fine, but for the comments form, where the users post, just a few would be nice. All others could be displayed with a “more »” link or something.

I used to have this with a different plugin, but it’s old and not compatible with the latest wordpress plugins.

Could you perhaps implement such a thing? In a way that we can choose, somewhere in the admin area, by drag and drop, the smilies we want to appear on the toolbar. That would be awesome.
