Smilies Themer Toolbar

Smilies Themer Toolbar provides a toolbar to easily add custom smilies to comments.

It integrates with Smilies Themer plugin, and therefore requires it.

You can change your smilies theme in your blog, and the toolbar is automagically updated!

Installation

  • Download and install Smilies Themer plugin (required)
  • Download Smilies Themer Toolbar
  • Extract the files in the .zip archive, and upload them (including subfolders) to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  • Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  • Enjoy!

Note: if you like the smilies theme in this page, you can download it here.

Theme integration

By default, Smilies Themer Toolbar is placed after the comments form, but if you want to put it in a nicer position, don’t worry, it isn’t that difficult.

Edit your theme and put this code where you want to show the toolbar:

<?php if (function_exists('sm_toolbar_show')) sm_toolbar_show();?>

@Khoa Beo: it is a Smilies Themer’s issue, but I will answer to your issue.
Julianus package actually provides only the icons you see. To enable the other smilies, uncomment (delete /* and */) the disabled ones in package-config.php.

Hi, I have a little bugreport for you:
Can’t download toolbar plugin from your site, http://polpoinodroidi.com/download/plugins/smilies-themer-toolbar.zip returns a broken .zip – it starts with the
Warning: set_time_limit() has been disabled for security reasons in YOURWEBROOT/wp-content/plugins/drain-hole/models/file.php on line 607

@BaRoN!: That’s strange. I’ve just tried to download that file and it results in a working zip file. Can you please retry? BTW, the error means a security setting related to my hosting, so thank you for reporting it, I will sure complain if it happens again.

@frasten: sorry for bothering you – now all seems to be fine, I was able to download both from server and from home PC, without troubles. At afternoon neither my server nor my PC was not able to download correctly.
